Organised by Astro, Da Ma Cai as main sponsor and MY FM as official radio, the ‘Super 50 Party’ will kick off at 8 pm on 24 February 2007 (Saturday) on the street of Jalan Bukit Bintang.

In conjunction with the 50 anniversary of nationhood, exclusively presented by Astro, this free outdoor concert is the biggest gathering of all the top Malaysian artistes ever in one grand show. Twenty Malaysian artistes are set to get on stage for this meaningful commemoration, including Michael Wong, Nicholas Teo, Penny Tai, Fish Leong, Yu Heng, Victor Wong, Gary Chow who all are top international artistes and have shone brightly abroad. To add to the impressive line up, renowned music producer, Mac Chew, who have also made his presence felt at the international Chinese music scene, is invited to be the music director of the show.

The ‘Super 50 Party’ will be held on the 7th day of the Chinese New Year, as Astro would like to bring a joyful Lunar New Year celebration with the impressive line-up of artistes to all fellow Malaysians.

LIVE Broadcast Brought To You By Astro AEC

The ‘Super 50 Party’ will be aired LIVE on Astro AEC (Channel 19) at 8 pm on 24th February 2007 for those who are not able to catch the show on the streets of Bukit Bintang. The programme will also be brought to fans via MY FM simultaneously. Listeners will get a chance to hear and experience this spectacular show. In addition, Astro is making arrangements for this show to be broadcasted to all Chinese communities across the world at a later date.

Behind-the-scene With Astro hosts:
Starting from 7pm on Astro AEC, viewers will be able to enjoy the pre-show of the ‘Super 50 Party’ and backstage scenes with hosts, Ser Yee from ‘E-Ha’, Ryan from ‘Bei Bei’s Diary’, Jym and Yan from ‘Go Go Trendy’. They will be interviewing artistes from the backstage and deliver the behind-the-scenes LIVE.
