Astro Classic Golden Melody Singing Competition 2007 Final

Exclusively produced and organized by Astro AEC（Channel9）, Da Ma Cai as cash sponsor, supported by My FM, the Astro Classic Golden Melody Singing Competition 2007 final will be held on May 19th, 8pm, at Genting Highlands, Arena of Stars!
Ten talented finalists (5 Female and 5 Male contestants) who beat all the challenges in 4 preliminary rounds will strive to put out their best effort to vie for the prestigious title! 4 preliminary rounds and a final were designed for contestants to showcase their vocal prowess. Other than Mandarin songs, contestants will be rendering songs in other Chinese dialects (Cantonese, Teo Chew, Hokkien, Hakka, etc). In addition, last year’s winners Tian Xiang and Soh Mei Ling are invited to be the guest artistes of the show.
Renowned local singer Yang Wei Han, Summer Grace: Kwok Voon Voon and Kwok Yan Yan and TP Lim will be hosting the show.
Besides experiencing the fun atmosphere of this competition, there is also an opportunity to win fabulous prizes which includes a total of RM69,000 cash prizes for the finalists, sponsored by Da Ma Cai. Champion will walk away with RM30,000 cash (sponsored by Da Ma Cai). 1st runner up will walk away with RM15,000 cash (sponsored by Da Ma Cai). 2nd runner up will walk away with RM10,000 cash (sponsored by Da Ma Cai). 3 subsidiary awards include ‘Best Dress Award’, ‘My Favourite CGM Contestant’ Award, ‘Most Energetic Award’.
